No invoices, no reminders.
The brand pays creatordeal upfront, before you start. We hold the money until it has approved your delivery, then the payout to you is triggered — with a credit note you file straight into your accounts.
Your money's route in four stages.
Every booking follows the same pattern — whether the brand books your package, accepts you for a collaboration or accepts your offer on an open call.
1. The brand pays upfront
After you accept, the brand pays the amount to creatordeal — by card, bank transfer or credit balance. With a bank transfer, the order starts once receipt of payment is confirmed.
2. The money is with us
While you work, creatordeal holds the money. If the brand wants more than agreed, you create an add-on with a price, and the brand pays it upfront before you continue.
3. The brand approves
You deliver within the order, the brand accepts the delivery. If it doesn't respond, an approval period runs; after that the delivery counts as approved.
4. Payout to you
After approval, the payout to your Stripe account is triggered. Fees charged by your own bank are yours.
You don't write invoices.
creatordeal bills using self-billing. You expressly agree to this procedure when you register.
One credit note per payout
For every payout, creatordeal issues a credit note with your net amount, the commission and the payout amount. You don't have to issue anything yourself or send anything to us.
As a PDF in the creator area
The credit notes are stored as PDFs in your creator area and go from there into your accounts.
Set your tax status once
Whether you bill under the small-business VAT exemption or are VAT-registered is something you set once in your settings. How you are classified is decided by your tax office — if in doubt, ask your tax adviser.
Your prices are net
Your package prices are net prices. creatordeal issues the invoice to the brand; VAT follows the brand's billing address.
What to take care of before your first payout.
You only do this once. After that, every further payout runs without new documents.
Create a Stripe account
The payout goes to a Stripe account that you set up once in the creator area.
Confirm your identity
ID card or passport and proof of address, plus proof of the company for businesses. Only we see the documents; once confirmed, the check applies permanently.
Provide your tax number
The tax number is mandatory; without it no billing document can be produced. A VAT ID is optional; if you provide one, it is verified automatically.
Deductions, disputes and special cases.
So nothing on your credit note surprises you.
Commission only on payouts
Profile, bio page and packages cost nothing. From every payout, creatordeal keeps the commission set out in the creator agreement; it is shown on the credit note. The service fee is paid by the brand.
Offsetting open amounts
Open amounts, for example for a product sample that wasn't returned, can be offset against your payout.
If there is a dispute
If the brand reports a problem, the payout is put on hold until creatordeal has decided based on brief, chat and delivery. The money stays with us until then.
Payment after delivery
If payment after delivery has exceptionally been agreed for a booking, this is shown on the booking. The payout then follows as soon as the brand's payment has arrived.
Common questions about payouts.
Short and without small print.
When do I get my money as a creator?
After the brand approves. Until then, the amount is held by creatordeal. If approval doesn't come, the delivery counts as accepted after the approval period, and the payout is triggered anyway.
Do I have to write an invoice?
No. For every payout, creatordeal issues a credit note with net amount, commission and payout amount. You don't have to issue anything yourself.
What is deducted from my payout?
The commission set out in the creator agreement — it is shown on every credit note. Open amounts, such as a product sample that wasn't returned, can be offset. All rates are on the pricing page.
What if the brand doesn't pay?
After you accept, the brand pays creatordeal upfront. With a bank transfer, the order only starts once receipt of payment is confirmed — so you're not working into the unknown.
Which documents do I need for payouts?
A Stripe account, ID card or passport, proof of address and your tax number; for businesses also proof of the company. A VAT ID only if you have one.
What happens with a complaint?
First, the brand can ask for a change. If it remains disputed, a case is opened in which both sides describe their view. Until creatordeal has decided, the money stays with us and the payout is on hold.
