How does creatordeal work?
Search for creators, send a request for the packages you want, and pay once the creators have accepted. The content is delivered as a link, and you release the payment when you are happy with it.
When is my card charged?
Not when you send the request. Sending costs nothing. You pay only after every creator has decided, and only for the packages that were accepted.
What if a creator does not reply?
The request expires after 72 hours and that creator drops out of the booking. The others are unaffected, and nothing is charged for the one who did not answer.
What does it cost me?
The package price is set by the creator. We add a 10% service fee, shown as its own line in your basket and again before you pay. There is no subscription and no listing fee.
How do I know I get what I pay for?
Your money is held after payment. It reaches the creator only once you confirm the delivery, or automatically after 48 hours if you do not reply. Report a problem and the payout is blocked until the case is settled.
How long do I have to review the work, and how often can I ask for changes?
You have 48 hours from delivery to look at the work. The clock runs in business days — Monday to Friday, public holidays in Austria and Germany do not count — so a weekend does not eat into it. If you do nothing, the booking is released automatically when the time is up and the creator gets paid. If you want changes, ask for a revision instead: up to 3 times, free of charge, as long as it is covered by the brief you agreed on. Once those are used up, you are left with approving or reporting a problem; anything beyond the brief goes through a paid add-on.
What if the work does not match the brief?
Do not approve it — report a problem on the order instead and write briefly what is missing. That stops the automatic release, and your money stays with us. Your reasons do not go into the order chat; they go to creatordeal, and you and the creator each have your own thread with us under Support. We hear both sides and then decide: release, refund part of it, or refund all of it. The decision appears in both threads and comes by email as well. If all you want is a correction, a revision is the easier route — it costs nothing and is not a dispute.
Who decides in a dispute?
creatordeal does. We are the contracting party on both sides — the brand buys from us, we buy from the creator — so the decision sits with us and not with either party. We look at the brief, the scope that was booked, the delivery and the history, and we hear both sides in their own thread. Three outcomes are possible: release, partial refund, or full refund. A partial refund is the most common one, because “usable but not what we agreed” happens more often than nothing at all. This is not an arbitration award: your statutory rights are unaffected, and you can take legal advice at any time.
Can I bring in a lawyer, and what does that cost?
Yes, if you want to — it is never required. Once a complaint is open, the booking shows a block called “Access for your lawyer or adviser”. It lists the law firms enabled on the platform along with their packages, mostly at a fixed price, some on request. You book such a package like any other package here and carry the cost yourself; creatordeal does not contribute to it. The lawyers advise you and can send us a statement — they do not represent you in court, and the decision on the complaint still rests with creatordeal. If the operator has not enabled the feature yet, the block says “coming soon” instead.
What does the lawyer get to see?
Only what you release, and read-only. After booking, you give them access to this one order in the “Access” block: the brief, the booked scope including usage rights and add-ons, the delivery and the history. They cannot change anything, they do not write in the order chat, and they see none of your other orders. Every time they open it, that is noted in the history, so you can see when they looked. You can withdraw the access at any time, and the creator can enable an adviser for the same order in the same way.
How do I get my money back?
Every refund arrives as credit in your account first — no deduction, free of charge. It is applied automatically to your next booking. If you would rather have the money paid out, ask for it under Account → Credit → Pay out; creatordeal then retains the repayment fee (3% + €0.25), because transferring the money back costs us. This is not the same as the cost of a complaint — that is handled separately and shown in the case itself.
Usage rights explained simply
An example: Sofia films a reel and posts it on her own channel. That part is always included and stays there — usage rights only govern what the brand may additionally do with the material. The four levels build on each other, so one choice is enough. Organic (included and with no time limit, unless agreed otherwise): the brand may share and repost Sofia’s reel on its own channels — social media profiles, website and newsletter — with no time limit. Without paid media and without whitelisting. Paid ads (includes organic): the brand runs the video as a paid ad — the brand’s name appears as the sender. Whitelisting (includes paid ads): the same ad runs through Sofia’s account and appears under her name, paid for by the brand (“Spark Ads” on TikTok, “Partnership Ad” on Instagram). Full buyout: everything, everywhere, with no time limit — including outside social media, so TV ads, billboards or packaging. Two more settings go with it. The term applies only to paid ads and whitelisting: it says how long the brand may run ads; after that the ads have to stop. Organic use and a full buyout never expire, and Sofia’s own post stays up in any case. The term starts when you approve the delivery, not when you pay. Category exclusivity means Sofia will not promote a competitor from the same category during that time. Why there is a surcharge: the further a brand may use the video, the more it is worth — and the more other jobs Sofia has to turn down in the meantime. That is why every level is its own line item with its own surcharge. Each creator sets their own rates, and may exclude individual levels altogether.
Can I talk to the creator before and during the job?
Yes. Every order has its own chat, including file attachments — for briefing details, questions and feedback.
Which payment methods can I use?
Card payment and bank transfer in advance. With a transfer the booking starts once the money has arrived, so it takes a little longer.
Who sends the invoice?
We do. You get a single invoice from us for the whole booking, however many creators are involved. You are our customer, not the creator’s.
Are you an agency?
No. We are a marketplace. You choose the creators yourself and brief them directly.

For creators

How do I get started?
Register as a seller, link your channels, and set your own price for every package you offer. We review each profile before it goes live.
What does it cost me?
Nothing to join and nothing to list. A commission is deducted from each payout; the rate is shown in your seller area and in the creator agreement.
Can I decline a request?
Yes, always. Nobody books you without your consent. Every request waits 72 hours for your decision, and no reply counts as a decline.
When may I start?
Only once the booking shows “Paid” in the creator area — that is when we have confirmed the brand’s payment. Your delivery time starts with that confirmation, not before. If you start earlier and the payment never arrives, there is no payout for that work.
Am I sure to get paid?
The brand pays before you start working, and we hold the money. Once the delivery is confirmed, your payout is released — so you never work against an open invoice.
When do I get my money?
As soon as the brand confirms the delivery. If they do not reply, the release happens automatically after 48 hours.
What happens if the brand reports a problem?
Your payout is put on hold until the case is settled — the money is still there, it does not simply go back. You get the complaint in your support thread with the operator and can put your side there, files included. creatordeal then decides: release, partial refund or full refund, and the decision appears in your thread. You may bring in a lawyer or adviser from the platform for this too and give them access to the order — at your own expense.
Which platforms are supported?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch, Snapchat, Amazon — and UGC, where you produce content without posting it yourself.
Do I have to sign a contract or commit to anything?
No fixed term and no exclusivity. When you register you accept the creator agreement, which governs commission, payout and non-circumvention. Beyond that, you decide which requests you take, and you can pause your profile at any time.
Who invoices whom?
We buy the service from you and sell it on to the brand. You settle with us, not with the brand — that is why there is only one invoice for the customer.
