Many bookings need a product in front of the camera. On creatordeal the product sample is part of the booking: with a value of goods, with a confirmation of receipt and with a clear rule for when nothing is delivered.
商品価額と発送はブリーフィングに書く
If you send the creator a product, you enter the value of the goods and the shipping cost when you book. That way it is on record from the start what is involved — and the booking is flagged “goods outstanding” for as long as the product is in transit. Whether the creator may keep the goods or should send them back belongs in the brief as well.
「商品発送済み」「商品受領済み」と納品期限
You note in the booking that the goods are on their way; the creator confirms receipt. Only with that confirmation does their delivery deadline start — they should not have to answer for a delay that happened in the post. If they do not confirm, the goods count as received once a set period from your dispatch note has passed.
返却、代替、相殺
Until approval the goods remain your property. After that the creator may keep them, unless the brief provides for a return. If they do not deliver, or cancel after receiving the goods, they send them back unused and at their own cost — otherwise they replace the stated value of the goods plus shipping. creatordeal may offset that amount against the creator’s credit and outstanding payouts.

A product sample is part of the production, not the fee: what is booked and paid for is the creator’s work. The value of a product the creator is allowed to keep can matter for tax purposes — how that is to be treated in an individual case is something each side clarifies with its own tax adviser. We provide the figures from the booking for it.

Only if the brief provides for it, or if the work was not delivered. After a booking that has been approved as normal, the creator may keep the goods.
